Boom cylinders for all 1 series tractors as well as 2nd generation 2R tractors will be available in June. These cylinders will have a bore size of 1.75" vs. the stock 1.5". This will increase cylinder force by 36% while lowering extend speed by about 26%
Boom cylinders for all 3E tractors, back to 2008, will also be available in June. For the 3E loader models, I chose to go with 2" lift cylinders 1) because the design of the non-quick park loader more easily allowed for it, and 2) this will put the lift capacity on par with the 3R models. A lot of people, myself included, would love to have a 3R, but those premium features fetch a premium price. Do I want them, "yes". Do I need them, "no". You're going to need a HydrosPlus 2R3E solution with these babies because your extend speed is going to drop by 43% and that's likely too slow for anyone to tolerate.
A larger bucket cylinder for the 260, 260B, and 270B will be here in late April/early May. This will also be a .25" increase in bore diameter that will reduce your extend speed by 23%, but increase your force by 27%. It will also have a 1.25" rod vs. the 1" rod on the 260/260b models that are notorious for bending.
I wore a hat through most of high school and college because I was too lazy to fix my hair, but now I don't wear one as much. Mostly on the weekends (when I'm too lazy to fix my hair)
When it came up in conversation, I always said, "If I ever have a reason to make a hat, I'm going to make a really nice one". I'm assuming this is what everyone would say, but now that I have a reason to make a hat, I've learned a lot about hats. Mainly, most people are very particular about their hats and even if you get what you think is the most premium hat available, more than half the people won't like it - not because it's not a great hat, but because people are particular about their hats.
I've been working on figuring out what I wanted to do regarding hats for nearly a year and I still don't have it completely figured out...but I'm getting closer. I've spent hundreds of dollars on iterations of what looks good using the HydroPlus logo. Something else I've learned about hats is that they are way more expensive than I thought, at least if you want a high end hat that is customized to your brand.
All this to say, you will soon have the opportunity to pay me...I mean reimburse me...I mean get your very own HydrosPlus Logo Hat. As you might expect, it's a very premium hat and it's the color and style I like. I will eventually have a few more options including youth versions that will be great hats, but more cost effective.
