Description
The HydrosPlus Lift+ for the John Deere 3R is a bad name, but for those who have the tractor and/or its predecessor, the 3X20, it makes sense. Ordering a quantity of 1 for this product will give you 2 lift cylinders and 4 hoses that replace the stock hoses for these cylinders. Will these fit your machine? The short answer is, if you have a 3R (3033R, 3039R, 3046R) or a 3×20 (3120, 3320, 3520) with a stock loader, then these will work with your tractor. If you have a 300x, H160, or 300R loader, this will increase your lift height to the same as the larger loader option. If you already have the larger loader option, then your lift height will remain the same. In both cases, your lift capacity will increase by about 45%. The slightly longer answer is, these tractors are very similar they came with 2 different loader options that have each had 3 different names. 300x, H160, 300r loaders are all the same and the 300cx, H165, and 320R are all the same. The difference between the 2 groups are that the latter (320R group) has a higher lift height and according to the paper specs, a slightly higher lifting capacity, but that’s not a function of mechanics, but rather pressure setting based on model. The truth is that both these loaders are structurally the same until you get to the cylinders and linkages. They stock lift cylinders are different in that the smaller model have a shorter stroke so they don’t lift as high. The stock tilt cylinders on the smaller model are actually longer, but they lack a linkage that is on the larger loader that allows a bigger dump angle. So, with these cylinders, they work perfectly for both the larger and smaller models with the added benefit to the smaller model of a higher lift height. The long answer – too many words. I’ll make a video soon and post the link here.
