  • HydrosPlus 2R3E Performance Kit

    HydrosPlus 2R3E Performance Kit

This kit includes the special tools, as well as everything you will need to install the solution. This is a direct replacement, so no changes or modifications to your tractor are required. Increase your hydraulic performance on your 2017 and later 203XR tractor and 3E tractor (all years and variants except 3036E. If you have a 3036E, contact me to confirm fitment). This solution provides up to an 85% increase in the implement flow while maintaining the same flow to your steering. You can now run hydraulic implements with flow requirements up to 10 GPMs as well as gaining better multi-function capability for the loader and backhoe at much lower RPMs. Using your loader will be so much more enjoyable and efficient because you are able to run at much lower RPMs and get the performance you need to get the job done. On the 2R series tractors, you can take better advantage of e-throttle rather than having to manually increase the throttle to get the speed you need. If you have the backhoe, save fuel while having plenty of flow to operate 3 and 4 functions at once. Visit my youtube channel to see current and future videos on this solution – https://www.youtube.com/c/hydrosplus and subscribe so that you get the latest information on this solution.

  • HydrosPlus Auger+

    HydrosPlus Auger+

Shipping is free for terminal pickup in the continental US. If you need home delivery, a residential and lift gate fee applies and it’s right at $250 for most carriers, so that’s the reason for the fee. It has to be a business in a commercial area, or they will charge for it. And, while most of us have forks to pick the pallet off the truck and plenty of space to turn around, they are still going to charge for it. It’s not about the logic, it’s the LTL business model…you can’t try to make sense out of it on a case by case basis. With that out of the way; here’s what you want to know about the product: Warranty is 5 years on the motor, but if yours breaks after that time, give me a ring. There is a good chance we can get you up and running without any additional cost to you. That said, these things are simple and not likely to break after 5 years assuming it didn’t break after the first few uses. The optional cradle is meant to fit on class 2 fork frames. This is most fork frames until you get into huge equipment, but there is a class 1 that some small tractors have. What you need to look for is the distance between the top of your top bar and the bottom of your bottom bar. It should be 16″ Previously, I offered a fork frame and forks, but I no longer offer that option. Most people have forks, and there are a number of places to get forks if you don’t have some. I was offering them at my cost, but given they have gotten cheaper and cheaper, it no longer makes sense for me to spend my time on this. How much torque does it have? If you’re within the 8-15 GPM range, it will produce about 1500 pound feet of torque. How big of a bit can I turn? Depends on the soil conditions, but also what your tractor can handle. 1 series, 16-18″ in sandy soil, but probably 12 in clay. For smaller tractors, the turning is less of the issue and the weight of the soil sticking to the bit plays a bigger role. For a 4 series, maybe as big as 24″ in sandy soils and 16-18″ in clay soils. It may stop, at times, but since you can reverse, you’ll typically be able to get the job done. If you’re building a deck, you should be fine. If you’re putting in 2 miles of fence with 18″ holes in clay, you probably want something bigger. • HydrosPlus Backhoe Boom+ for 260/260B/270B/370B/375A

    HydrosPlus Backhoe Boom+ for 260/260B/270B/370B/375A

The HydrosPlus Backhoe Boom+ is huge. I mean, really. It’s big and heavy and nothing like the stock cylinder. But that’s what’s needed to make the JD backhoes, up to the 375A, a real backhoe that can push down small trees and let you maneuver the tractor around from the seat when you need to move side to side or even back and forth. Check out the first look here and reach out if you have questions – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Te_NQQ7l6-s My recommendation on size is anything with the 260 or 260B, the 2.5 is the way to go. Plenty of power to spare and based on the weight of the tractor, going bigger doesn’t do anything for power, but you’ll lose some speed. 270B and up, you can go with either, but the 2.75 is the way to go given the size and weight of this tractor, especially if you have fluid in the tires.

  • HydrosPlus Backhoe Bucket+ for the 385(A) and 485(A)

HydrosPlus Backhoe Bucket+ for the 385(A) and 485(A)

HydrosPlus Backhoe Bucket+ for the 385(A) and 485(A) has a 1/4″ larger bore (2.5″) and a 1/8″ thicker rod (1 3/8″) . This gives you 20% more root ripping power, as well as insurance against unexpected downtime due to a potential bent rod. It’s unclear why the JD backhoe rods seem to bend more often than expected, but the HydrosPlus Bucket+ is warrantied against bending under any normal operating conditions. What are normal operating conditions? As long as the bolts are tight and the structure is not bent so that it can’t get out of alignment during use, I will replace it. Consider this a challenge. Based on my research, this is a direct replacement for the 385, 385A, 485, and 485A. It may work on other models, such as the 447 and 448, but I have not yet confirmed that, so give me a ring if you would like this product and we can take some measurements to see what the trade offs may be.

  • HydrosPlus Bucket+ 260/260b/270b/370b/375A Backhoe Bucket Cylinder

HydrosPlus Bucket+ 260/260b/270b/370b/375A Backhoe Bucket Cylinder

HydrosPlus Backhoe Bucket+ Cylinder is for the 260/260b/270b/370b backhoes and gives you the same range of motion as you have today with ~27 more digging force and a larger 1.25″ rod for those with a 260 backhoe. While a HydrosPlus flow solution is not required for this cylinder, it’s highly recommended since more power require more flow. See the images for the numbers and you can do your own calculations based on your flow with this online calculator – https://www.baumhydraulics.com/images/calculators/cyl_speed.htm

  • HydrosPlus Flow+ Stage 1 for the John Deere 3R and 4 Series

HydrosPlus Flow+ Stage 1 for the John Deere 3R and 4 Series

HydrosPlus Flow+ Stage 1 for the John Deere 3R and 4R increases your hydraulic performance from ~9 GPM on the 3R and ~11 GPM on the 4 Series, to over 14 GPM. • HydrosPlus Lift+ for the John Deere 3R

HydrosPlus Lift+ for the John Deere 3R

The HydrosPlus Lift+ for the John Deere 3R is a bad name, but for those who have the tractor and/or its predecessor, the 3X20, it makes sense. Ordering a quantity of 1 for this product will give you 2 lift cylinders and 4 hoses that replace the stock hoses for these cylinders. Will these fit your machine? The short answer is, if you have a 3R (3033R, 3039R, 3046R) or a 3×20 (3120, 3320, 3520) with a stock loader, then these will work with your tractor. If you have a 300x, H160, or 300R loader, this will increase your lift height to the same as the larger loader option. If you already have the larger loader option, then your lift height will remain the same. In both cases, your lift capacity will increase by about 45%. The slightly longer answer is, these tractors are very similar they came with 2 different loader options that have each had 3 different names. 300x, H160, 300r loaders are all the same and the 300cx, H165, and 320R are all the same. The difference between the 2 groups are that the latter (320R group) has a higher lift height and according to the paper specs, a slightly higher lifting capacity, but that’s not a function of mechanics, but rather pressure setting based on model. The truth is that both these loaders are structurally the same until you get to the cylinders and linkages. They stock lift cylinders are different in that the smaller model have a shorter stroke so they don’t lift as high. The stock tilt cylinders on the smaller model are actually longer, but they lack a linkage that is on the larger loader that allows a bigger dump angle. So, with these cylinders, they work perfectly for both the larger and smaller models with the added benefit to the smaller model of a higher lift height. The long answer – too many words. I’ll make a video soon and post the link here.

  • HydrosPlus Lift+ Scale Kit

    HydrosPlus Lift+ Scale Kit

HydrosPlus Lift+ Scale is an analog way to understand how much weight you have on your loader. The kit comes will everything you need to connect and mount it to your 1 or 2 Series John Deere Tractors. It can be made to fit other applications, and I will be adding model specific kits in the future, but at the moment, this kit is only certified to fit 1 and 2 series tractors. Installation is simple. The kit is fully assembled, and you only need to plumb it into the piston side of your loader circuit and mount it with a single bolt at the top of your right hand side loader mast. Once installed, you calibrate the scale by lifting to the height that you plan to weigh at, and documenting the baseline pressure. From there, you can add a known weight and use the following formula to get the pounts per psi – (Total PSI – baseline PSI)/known weight) For example, assume the baseline PSI was 200 (the weight of the loader empty). Then you added a known weight of 200lbs and that increased the PSI to 500. You can then run the following numbers: (500-200)/200=1.5psi per pound of weight. From there, if you went to lift a bucket of sand and the PSI showed 1700 psi, you would then know that your bucket of sand weighed 1000lbs.

Check out this video to see the performance gains in real life – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk8TIRbSnMk While you are gaining ~35% in lift capacity, you are losing about 35% in speed. It’s not required, but highly recommended that you have at least the HydrosPlus Stage 2 Performance Kit.

  • HydrosPlus Loader+ and Flow+ Package for John Deere 3R Tractors

HydrosPlus Loader+ and Flow+ Package for John Deere 3R Tractors

HydrosPlus Loader+ and Flow+ Package has everything you need to supercharge your hydraulic and loader experience on your 3R tractor. This kit only works on machines with the 320R/H165 loader. If you have the smaller loader, you can purchase the pump and lift cylinder separately, but the tilt cylinders will not work on the 300R/H160 loaders. Check out the video playlist for all the details, but in a nutshell, you will get 2.5 bore tilt cylinders, 2.375 bore lift cylinders, and a pump that delivers over 14 GPM. This combination will make your machine work like a completely new machine, exceeding both the flow and loader capacity of the 4 series machines.
